What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser, typically to remember you between visits or track your activity. Browsers also offer other kinds of local storage that websites can use to keep data on your device.
Cookies we set: none
This website does not set any cookies of its own. There is no advertising tracking, no social media pixel, and no cross-site profiling on this site — which is why you don't see a cookie consent pop-up here.
Cookie-free analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It is a privacy-first tool: it sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and gives us only aggregate statistics such as page views, referrers and country-level location. It cannot identify you personally.
We also keep our own first-party visit counters. These work the same way: no cookies, no profile of you — each page view simply adds one to anonymous daily totals (page views, visitors, referrers, device type, language and country) that only our team can see. To count you once per day rather than on every page, a small flag with the current date is kept in your browser's local storage; it contains nothing about you and never leaves your device.
Browser storage we use
Some features of the site keep small amounts of data locally in your browser. This data stays on your device and is not used to track you:
- Visit counting flags. Our first-party analytics (described above) keeps a dated "already counted today" flag in local storage, plus session-only markers so a browsing session and its country lookup are counted once rather than on every page. They contain no personal information.
- Sign-in support. The Google Firebase library that powers our agent and staff sign-in stores session data in your browser (using IndexedDB). For visitors who never sign in, it holds no account information.
- A temporary sign-in flag. During the sign-in process on the Agent Hub page, a short-lived marker is kept for the duration of the browser session to detect interrupted sign-ins.
- Caches in internal tools. Pages used by our own team cache working data (such as project catalogues) locally in their browsers.
Third-party services
Some parts of this website load content or code from third parties. When they do, those providers receive technical data (such as your IP address) as part of serving the request, and some may use their own cookies under their own privacy policies:
- Google — fonts and icons (Google Fonts), the embedded map on property pages (Google Maps), our enquiry form processing (Google Forms), property listing data and photos (Google Sheets and Drive), and the Firebase sign-in and database services behind our internal tools.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, image delivery and the cookie-free analytics described above.
- Content delivery networks — page styling and interactive components load from CDNs including cdn.tailwindcss.com, unpkg.com, cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net.
- Map data providers — the suburb map page loads basemap tiles from CARTO and boundary data from Brisbane City Council's open data service.
- Unsplash — stock photography on some pages.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser's privacy settings, and browse this site in private/incognito mode without losing any core functionality. Note that blocking third-party content entirely may stop the embedded map and enquiry form from working.
